what is there to do in LA?

for a guy who's not into clubbing or drinking.

trying to think of an excuse to go out and visit my cousin and her wife without having them think that they're the only reason I'm going out there (because I don't want them to feel obligated to entertain me and stuff)

if you like Chinese food, the prices are crazy inexpensive (4$ lunch, 5$ dinner with unlimited rice). These aren't tiny meals either.

in and around la:

china town
go to the beach
universal studios hollywood
la tar pits
disneyland
la garment/fashion district (The LA Fashion District is a bargain hunter's paradise, with over 1,000 stores that sell to the general public at discounted prices. Shoppers can expect to find bargains of 30% to 70% off of retail prices on apparel and accessories for the entire family, plus textiles and flowers. )

huh?

go to six flags.

after living in NYC, it's hard to think of food as a draw to anywhere but New Orleans (srsly, why is there no great cajun restaurant in NYC?)... never thought of LA for cheap clothes, though.

nothing, please don't come here.

I have to. 🙁 really, I hate the very idea of LA, but I can't put off visiting my cousin for much longer. bad enough that I had to miss her and the gf's wedding back in August.
