my new mobo says not to use a 3.3 volt AGP card. I can't find much right now with the little time I have on the ATI X800XL voltage beyond how to overclock it. Anyone know what the stock voltage on the X800XL is?

Every motherboard that has at least an AGP 4X slot is 1.5V.

If your CPU is an Athlon XP, Athlon64, or Pentium 4 and it has an AGP slot (versus a PCI-express slot) then it's either AGP 8X or AGP4X, which is 1.5V like all AGP 4x/8x cards. You should be fine unless you're running it with a Pentium 2.

The 3DFX cards were 3.3 volt. Like the 3000 and 5500 Voodoo's. So the older cards are 3.3....newer agp's are 1.5 volts...your fine...put it in
