What is the worst way to die, according the movies?

The black knight in Holy Grail.

Crap, he didnt die. Hmmm I guess that doesnt count.

Then maybe that person in formula 51 that drank that concoction and then exploded? I think that was the movie.

Or in one of the Cube movies (dont remember which one) when the person gets diced into little sections from the swinging grid? (Honorable mentions to all other movies which slice and dice a person and show cross-sections or pieces - Resident Evil and the Thir13en Ghosts come to mind, but I know there are more)

edited for clarity

The dude that gets put into the decompression chamber, Sanchez cranks up the pressure then the chops the hose with an axe and the dude's head blows up 😀
It worries me that a scene like that makes you smile. 😛

I just saw it for the 20th time last night on Spike TV. I'm a Bond fiend😛

It's just funny watching him in there screaming. One eye closed, one eye open with his hands on his head. Then he looks at Sanchez with the axe and there's that "OH SH!T, DON'T DO IT MAN" look on his face. It gets me everytime 😀

Chainsaw while handcuffed in the shower like Scarface.

Beaten mercilessly by baseball bats like Joe Pesci's character in Casino.

Edit: Shot then butchered as shown in Donnie Brasco.

They all seem equally gruesome and painful to me.

Chainsaw in the shower by far is the worst. That scene was hardcore.

My vote is for either of the following:
1. Being thrown out onto the Martian planetscape in Total Recall
2. Being put into a decompression chamber that is heavily pressurized and then explosively depressurized in James Bond: The Living Daylights (I think it was that one).

Armchair psychologists please feel free to wax theoretical on my apparent fear of being killed by decompression. 😉

I just saw the trailer of Saw and it looks pretty fscked up like the preview says 😉 I read on IMDB that its rated NC-17, it must be pretty damn graphic.

He he, y'know, the movie Showgirls was made partially with the intent of re-popularizing NC-17 movies. If Saw is anything like the hype and trailers are making it out to be it could very well succeed where Showgirls failed.

So, was that scene from License to Kill? I'm still not sure... 😉

Add to mine the end of Raiders Of The Lost Ark when they crack open the ark and those dudes just melt away. Zoiks!

I forget which movie, but they cut the guy's skin around his waist while upside down, the rip it off all in one big piece down to his arms.

There is a name for it, something? sweater.

I think that movie had the creative title "Skinned Alive". The cover was a closeup of the chest of a nude woman, with the skin removed where the bikini line would go. I guess it had something to do with making clothing out of the skin or some nonsense. I dunno, strictly C-grade Direct-to-Video crap.

Oh yeah, are we talking American movies only? 'cause Japan has some pretty extreme crap. Stuff from Ichi the Killer and the Dead or Alive series is pretty intense. Though drowning a girl in her own poop is a disturbingly humorous idea.

Doesn't sound like the movie I saw it in. I thought was some sort of vietnam war(or return to recover POWs) flick I think.

Do we know that it killed him?
That is one of the most disturbing scenes in the history of movies.

I just watched it a couple of weeks ago and as I recall, it's mentioned that he died of massive head trauma that morning. :Q

That scene is definitely high on my "Cringe List", along with:

- Joe Pesci's demise in Casino

- The toxic waste guy in Robocop

- Richter at the end of Total Recall

I seem to recall (no pun intended) that the original line Arnold shouts to him is "you forgot these." I liked that better than "see you at the party, Richter." 😉

LICENCE TO KILL as on the cover of the DVD, which is the Brit spelling..........American English spelling would have been LICENSE.
