What is the worst pet?

What do you guys think is the worst common pet? Not counting obscure things, just 'standard issue'.


My vote is guinea pig. Unless there is something else I'm forgetting.

Other than that, I would say snapping turtle.
Not that I don't like turtles (I like turtles, I swear), just that I like them the least of common pets.

EDIT: not sure if you can count fish, but if you can, those are the worst

depends on the fish. Oscars are pretty cool. so are lionfish on the satwater side. Anything that eats feeder fish.

i had a friend in high school that owned 2 iguanas. he walled off half his room with wood and chicken wire for the things. as far as i could tell they do 3 things - grow, live a long time, and really stink.

yeah, i used to have a saltwater puffer and a clown trigger fish. I threw a small crab in the tank and it got devoured before it ever reached the bottom.

puffers are like little water dogs. they'll squirt water at you when it's feeding time. and it's cool when they puff out.

talk about boring. but mine has lived 31 years now..

reptiles, they are boring and just sit there under the lamp.
Insects and arachnids suck too.
Fish are boring too.
Then anything that resembles a mouse or a rodent, because they smell and the cage has to be cleaned. At least they are more human than the others.
