As bad as it sounds - being too trusting. I've let two separate "friends" take advantage of my kindness (one for a period of two years, because I didn't want to believe it), and it turned out that they weren't really friends at all. I suppose this is a common enough occurrence, but it's still a drag to say the least. I just need to get better about character judgments or something...
