I know we all have had our share of BSOD's so I just wnated to see what had happend to others out there.

On time while working on a Windows 2000 machine that I had just helped setup (the hardware on this one was donated and questionable) I was loading into IE and I got the BSOD. "Critical Memory Dump" it said. So I said oh well and restarted. The next message I got was one announcing that my boot sector had been corrupted. Hehehe time to start over!

This computer will self destruct in 5...4...3...2...

It was scary, but fortunately I had the good sense to wake up from that bad dream, go onto windows and see this message instead, it was much more comforting:

"OE Error at DOIJWS(*E&8970987*(&@IHDOSHD(S

You can either try and get back into windows (hah!)
or
You can hit ctrl+alt+del and watch me hardlock instead of restart

We OWN YOU ZIPPY! THERE IS NO ESCAPING!"

Okay, so that never really happened, but I was in the mood for a good nef. 🙂
