Whoa dude, care to back that statement up with some facts!?!?!? I have a hard time being convinced that the X5 is the most powerful SAV (I assume you mean SUV) out there when being compared to the likes of the Yukon, Suburban, and Expedition. Maybe most powerful in it's class, but overall in the SUV world... I don't think so. >>

I kinda agree with the yuppie wannabe observations so far...
Bimmer 323i & 325i... "whoo, I have a BMW!! I'm hot $hit!"

Instead of the X5, the Mercedes MLs are more typically driven wannabes and snobs... more snobs though since it's typically out of the price range of a wannabe... like the Hummer, it's more for rich poseurs... RX300s seem common with yuppie scum... same with S2000s & snobs.
I nominate the Acura TL & CL TypeS for my area's "yuppie scum" car of the year. Whenever I see one, I invariably see the ID feature of those glorified Honduhs... (ID = Idiotic Driving) and if it's not that, it's an Accord Coupe with the 50hp spoiler.

Invariably some yuppie scum try to race me in their pathetic new toys that don't even have manual trannys. They don't even know what they're up against... a lighter, faster, non-stock turbocar. But now, I feel it's just a waste of gas, even dusting ricers isn't worth the bother.

EDIT: And yes, I drive a Mitsu/DSM... FWD because I couldn't find an AWD on the short time I needed to find a car.

Well, aren't many rappers here driving those monstrosities...it's the upper-class, doctor's wife or middle-age woman with too much shopping time on her hands. A few months ago, a friend of mine and I were walking back from lunch (I work downtown) and some 50-something woman was trying to parallel park a Navigator (she had PLENTY of room) but after two attempts (we could see her as we were approaching) she saw us and rolled her window down and asked if we could direct.

I consider a yuppie car to be anything that's expensive and worthless at the same time. This brings to mind Jaguar, Cadillac, Acura (great cars but then again so's a Honda) and the Lexus IS300. Also, the Range Rover 4.6HSE.

THE ULTIMATE YUPPIE WEAPON OF CHOICE: The G-class from Mercedes Benz (those fools who paid $140,000 to get them imported through that one guy in Arizona didn't even flinch when MBUSA put them on sale for $80k...they have so much money they didn't even bother to complain....)
