What is the stock vcore for an e6600?

The BIOS on my P5B Deluxe has it set to "auto".

I want to manually set the voltages for the CPU and RAM to normal levels before overclocking.

Ok, it says 1.35v on Intel's site so I went with that. I have memory with Micron D9 chips. I set it to 2.0v at 4-4-4-12. I am running Orthos for a bit to see if it is happy at stock speeds.

Now is it as simple as just upping the FSB?

If you're going to overclock that chip, I think you'll need to update the FSB AND vcore.

You mean +0.2 volts, right? To 1.55v? Because running that at 2.0v would fry it.

I think he's talking about the memory.

I think he was referring to his RAM (voltage for that) so yeah 2.0V for the actual RAM. then he gave his timings.

Yah the CPU itself?1.35V stock.

On 1.35 which is the stock CPU voltage you could go probably quite a bit higher on the FSB without raising the voltage. Try to see how high you can go on FSB at stock V before doing anything else. Then start upping the Vcore bit by bit.
