Is there a way to only kill desktop start search for web results? I had the web search toggle to off for the longest time, the recent major update killed it (I presume they still can't overtake Google). I had it killed via registry, some sort of windows 10 update killed it. I had disallowed cortana from connecting to the internet, a recent update rolled back its changes.
Anyone know what is the server the thing is hitting, is it just regular bing? I can add it to my router's kill list but I would prefer to not lose bing access if I wanted to use it but to kill it from the start menu.
Anyone know, or is it just add bing.com to my router's block list and be done with it.
