What is the risk in this situation?

My wife and her partner own a business. One location has three Win 7 computers in workgroup. They access a Win 2008 terminal server in another location via Remote Desktop. The computers are hard wired to a Linksys WRT-54G router which is set up as an access point. The main router/modem is a standard Comcast SMC model.

The partner uses a Vista laptop when he is in that office. He gets on the internet (via wireless) and had used a shared printer in the workgroup. After I set up the three Win 7 computers he could not longer print. I went to set up his laptop to add the printer and found that it was a mess. Apparently he downloads anything. Limewire, toolbars, etc., a security nightmare. I cleaned it up but considering his computer habits, is it wise to have him able to have access through the workgroup's router?

I cleaned up a computer for him a couple of years ago and warned him about this but apparently that fell upon deaf ears. If this is a risk is there anything I can do to protect the workgroup short of denying him access? If a workgroup computer were to get infected could the server be vulnerable through terminal services? I suppose I already know the answer, just looking for confirmation.
