What is the right DMA setting for CDRW and DVD on bios of A7v133?

I connected a Plextor on primary master and a Toshiba dvd on secondary master. One hdd is on promise primary master.
Thanks.

I just go into the BIOS, and it detects the settings for you. I know my DVD sets itself to PIO but windows just overrides the BIOS anyways and changes it to DMA.

I have my Plextor and Toshiba setup like yours. Both drives show up as "CDROM UDMA 2" on bootup.

EDIT: I do have a jumper on the Plextor that forces the drive to UDMA 33. I heard that others have had issues with this setup, but I have had no problems burning with NERO or CloneCD.

There are options like 1 to 4, and is there any difference Udma 2 from udma 3 or 4?
If Windows overrides the bios setting, any setting manually has no difference?
my default settings are PIO 4 for Plextor burner and DMA 2 for Toshiba 2.
But the DMA is enabled on system properties.
Thanks.

I have my IDE channels set at AUTO in the BIOS. I have not really tested for any speed/burning differences on the Plextor without the jumper installed showing as PIO 4, or with the jumper on showing as UDMA 2. I just prefer having the jumper installed, and showing as UDMA 2 at bootup. I also have the DMA boxes checked in Windows.
