I always keep my pc running (24/7) and considering liquid AIO compared to AIR as the radiator for Air cooling would be close to GPU which I would believe would keep both CPU and GPU running hotter.

Which AIO do you recommend?

Thanks;

pc running (24/7)
I just use a sd226
https://a.co/d/3TEEjdc

I swapped the fan that comes with it though for 2x Arctic p12 pwm pst fans and a graphite pad. 100% load testing keeps a 12700k at around 60c.

I contemplated getting an aio as well with all of the hype about temps but, figured air would be worth a shot first before dropping twice as much on a rad. Fans are cheaper to replace than a complete aio. And it's silent.

Cooling depends on what you want from your system, a $20 cooler will give you 94% of the performance of an expensive AIO if you leave it to run wild without any power limits.
At 200W the $20 cooler will keep you at 58 degrees so, not bad at all.

If you leave your PC running 24/7 you should consider making profiles with Intel XTU so you don't have to lock it down to either very low or very high performance but have it boost automatically based on the programs you want boosted.

But doesn't the heat from cpu cooler and gpu merge, resulting in both heating each other. While AIO radiator will not affect the gpu temp as significant as air cpu cooler and vise versa.

I don't have a GPU in my headless setup. The exhaust from the air cooler goes straight out the back of the case. Your GPU also does the same but has radiant heat due to the power draw. Add additional fans to other locations to force the hot air out the back through the slots or exhaust the air through the top of the case. I also have 3 fans in the front and top in addition to the exhaust fan and have the option of squeezing a couple more into the bottom of the case if needed.

This is gamers nexus best ranked air cooler, beating the noctua D15 even.

I dont recommed AIO's unless you have room for a 360.
And well those aren't really worth the price on a CPU that wont net you any increased performance without guzzling your electricity.
