what is the recharging cable for bb and droid called

what is that shape called. it isnt "microsusb" or "miniusb" even though it is a similar shape

My Motorola Droid does in fact use a standard microUSB cable.

However, I did know someone whose Blackberry could use the cable for my Canon S2 IS. And it wasn't a standard end. HTC phones don't use standard micro/mini USB cables...at least they didn't. Which phone do you have?

HTC now uses standard MicroUSB, and I do believe Blackberry does as well.

Most everything uses Micro-USB now. Blackberry's before used Mini-USB and HTC phones used to use a different style USB connector but most are Micro which is good, one cable for everything.

Although they might be shaped differently, MicroUSB should work in all of them. Some of them look a little weird, but the connector will go in just fine.
