I don't think that 99% of people could have a meaningful and healthy relationship with someone and never have sex.

Well I guess you could argue that since in the long run we are supposed to procreate to keep the human race alive, but I think in general people just like the companionship.

I don't think it's the only reason, but probably up there. I would have to say the main reasons are companionship and convenience.

I would date girls to get sex out of them first and foremost. If they had a good personality I would continue to see them.

If they had a crappy personality i would just try to continue to get laid until the well dried up.

Now I am monogamous so...............
