I noticed how many times Anand kept apologizing on his frontpage about the BBS going down, the amount of emails he was getting about it, and how he's trying to fix it. So I decided to check out what all the hype was about, and I haven't left since. 😀
 
I used Sharky Extreme (and Sharky Forums) as it was recommended by a friend. They dropped their 'off topic' forum and everyone quit. The most knowledgeable and helpful person said he was going to Anandtech. I came over and made a gradual switch (about 2-3 months). I liked Anandtech better (eventually) and stayed.
