What is the "Real World" throughput for 54g WiFi?

I just installed a Netgear WG311 54g wireless PCI card in addition to my Netgear WG614v2 wireless router to complete my home network (for now). My question is, what should I see as a good thoughput transferring large files (say a DVD movie)? I'm seeing about 15 Mbps average instead of the claimed 54 Mbps. I have WPA-PSK enabled and have the signal meter pegged out on the Netgear utilitiy and it says I have a 54 Mbps connection. WinXP says my signal strength is "Excellent". I've tweaked all the settings I can think of in the Router and Computer. Everything seems to work great together except the throughput seems a little low. I'm also connected via DSL modem and all my connection speeds are good for both wired and wireless.

Anybody?

Thanks in advance...

18-22Mb/sec.

PCI with the Antenna Stuck behind the Case is probably slightly reducing it. :Q
