What is the proper way to upgrade nforce driver?

Hi,
Is it required to uninstall your previous nforce driver before you upgrade to the new one? I've always click on the .exe and let the computer take care of the rest but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Thanks in advance.

If that works for you, go with it. I do it the same way.
However, many people feel you should first uninstall the existing drivers and start clean.

I've always just had the new ones install over the ild one and have never had any problems on the 4 nForce machines I have worked on or built.
