What is the point of "small car only" spots?

Huge trucks just park there anyways with their wheels over one of the lines so no one can park next to them. It's not like there is any enforcement...

I actually left a note on some asshole's car who did that once.

Since parking anything in any spot between the lines has become a skill more difficult to find than the ability to churn butter who cares.

The point is so they can fit more cars in a fixed amount of space. DUH!

Hmm. Maybe I should print out a bunch of notes to leave. Something like:

Dear A**hole,

Park your oversized tank in a compact spot again and you won't be able to recognize it.

Sincerely,
A concerned citizen

PS: Your license plate number has been recorded for future reference.

In my impetuous youthful days, I'd hork up big old loogies for people who parked like they were the King of Siam or something... like this one guy when I was in the military, parked his car taking up a bit over two spots with his Caddy or Lincoln because he parked longways instead of diagonally, in the spots right in front of the chow hall. He got a big special one on his windshield.

The soccer moms with the SUV's love to park in those spots around here. I hate it.

I have a business card left behind in a former coworker's desk... it simply has the words "Your Problem is Obvious" and a drawing of a guy with his head up his bum.

the point is to get permits ,municipalities or buisnesses are required to provide X amount of parking spaces. So they get around limited space by making 3/4 of them for compact cars.

Asking "What part of small car don't you understand?" is probably being too much of a wuss...

Nah, too vague. Stupid people (aka general public) probably won't understand.

Might as well bring a suburban and park it across 5 compact spots. You can't even fit a focus in those midget spots.

I park my sedan into those midget spots and I stay in between the lines. It just takes a little bit more time to do it.

But yeah, I agree with people who are parking tanks into those spots as being @$$H01ES.
