What is the point of bringing more immigrants who will need financial assistance?

Immigrant children are often better at school. All the previously mostly white school districts here are seeing increases in average test scores and property values as Asian immigrants move in. We need the best people, not just ones who just happened to be born here. Unfortunately, as anyone who interviewed candidates from flyover state universities will tell you, you can't make America great again just with Trump Trash.

Most Americans are on some form of financial assistance from the gov't. The focus on immigrants is, well, more than just odd. It's transparent.

Of course, that's to say nothing of the fact that immigrants are a large net economic benefit to the U.S. economy. Very few economists argue otherwise because the data and common sense all point in the same direction.

Asians are kicking the crap out of everybody in test scores. It is completely irrelevant if they are immigrants or not. They are the WEALTHIEST and MOST EDUCATED portion of America. They are currently driving scientific innovation in America, not whites. I believe my kids would have turned out much better if they had been raised by Asian parents. I completely fucked up and now have two children with no competitive drive to succeed and no interest in critical thinking, logic or math. Good enough for service work and not much else.

Pretty much. Americans forget that much of what the world considers great about America came from Asian, Jewish, etc, immigrants working as scientists and engineers (etc) and their children raised in immigrant culture, and not from Joe the "real American" fat truck driver from Iowa.
