Google DOES work... but hell, I'll humor you.

ROFLCOPTER: Originating from "Rolling on Floor Laughing"... people started adding on other letters like "ROFLMAO" and "ROFLMAOPIP" (laughing my ass off and peeing in pants). In a mocking manner, people started adding random words and crap to the end that made no sense. Thus, ROFLCOPTER was born.

lawlerskates: Origination from "LOL"... the first part sounds like how one would pronounce "lol" and the end portion came about the same way "ROFLCOPTER" did.

OMGWTFBBQ: "Oh my God, What the F*ck, Barbecue"... People said OMG all the time. People said WTF all the time. People combined OMG and WTF to form OMGWTF. People added on BBQ because it felt natural to add another 3 letter abbreviation.

DIAF: Die in a fire. People posted stupid things. (IE: FREE IPOD!) and people thought of the worst punishment that someone could receive for being a jackass, and it just so happened that dying in a fire would be a slow painful death, so people say DIAF when they want you to die a slow painful death for posting something stupid.

TTIWWP: This thread is worthless without pics. If a thread talks about how hot someone is, or how cool someting looks, or any situation where text on a screen doesn't cut it, the thread is dubbed worthless unless it has picture proof. Seeing is believing.


Now, if you are looking for the exact moment something was used, then you can TPAD because you're on your own for that one.
