What is the Optimum way to TV-out?

DVI would be by *far* the best option, although you'd have to have a relatively new all-digital HDTV to handle it. Some ATI cards can do component video output, which should work with any HDTV or EDTV.

Next best would be S-Video, then Composite.

Yes, DVI is way better...this is my setup (im a nut about gaming)

XP Media Center Edition 2004
P4 w/HT lots of ram, and drive space, radeon 9600 something with DVI (also lots of ram)
5.1 sound

Via DVI cable to TV

Sony 36" WEGA (vega) HDTV/DVI flatscreen both 4:3 & 16:9 ratio

So DVI on a BFG Geforce 4600 to a Projection TV (relatively 'new', does have dvi jack) isn't recommended then?
