what is the normal/idle temperature of phenomx2 550

hello techies i have been using phenom x2 550 and my idle cpu temperature are 48-52deg my room temperature is 30 degrees . is it normal or fan clubbed case is needed. i am using powercolor 4870 asus m4a78 em /1394 mobo . please help

i do not tweak voltage at all it is on auto mode.

Wow, that seems high! What cpu cooler are you using? Is the retention bracket secure? (i had that problem, turns out I had a screw loose on the bracket...).
