What is the normal Duron 1gh operating temp?

I have a Duron 1000. What is a good temperature to maintain when the computer is on 10+ hours a day? And what is the absolute maximum temperature the chip can take?

AMD says 80C is MAX Temp.

A good range would be 38-40C for stability/longevity.

Keep in mind that different motherboards use different methods of temperature measurement. The temperature may not be comparable to others results or recommendations. Durons don't run too hot so you might get down to 40C but as long as you are under 60C I would not expect any problems on most motherboards.

my 1 gig duron runs at 39 deg cel. it is a server so it is on 24x7x365. i only have 1 case fan in it, pm me if you need anymore 1 gig duron info!
