I only became aware of hardware reserved memory when I failed to properly seat a RAM module and half my RAM was listed as hardware reserved.
But now that I fixed that, I still have 82.5MB of RAM marked as hardware reserved (in Win 8 > Task Manager > Performance > Memory).
Now, 82.5MB out of 16GB is totally trivial, but I'm just curious to know if a small amount of hardware reserved memory is typical, or if I have a problem?
Win 8 Pro 64

ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB)
ATI Radeon HD 6850
