What is the name of the nvidia utility that...

would someone happen to know the name of the nvidia video card overclocking utility that simply adds a tab to your display properties and gives you a couple sliders? ive been seeing a lot of screen shots of it, and i just switched over to a nvidia card, and am anctios to see what it can do :) thanks guys

whats the diff between rivatuner and coolbits? is one preferred over the other? do they both support the 7800gt?

Coolbits is a mod to your registry... it's already in the drivers.

Yes they both. Coolbits is a driver extension that's hidden by default. You activate it in the registry and it allows you to overclock (two sliders). Rivatuner I haven't used, but I believe it's a third-party overclock utility.

im looking at the coolbits download page, and i dont see any mention of it supporting the 7800 series. am i missing it?

edit: or is the ability for the utility to work based on driver version? btw, in case you cant tell, im kinda new to the nvidia camp, this is my first nvidia card for years :)

coolbits is part of the nvidia drivers... if the drivers work, coolbits should work.
