What is the most useless major in college!?

My roomie is a philosophy major and it's pretty useless too, although he'd tell you that engineers are akin to dentists (not doing anything new -- his analogy) and philosophy majors are doing 'real' stuff. I just :roll:

I didn't need to click on this thread to know it'd be philosophy. In fact, I lost the respect of many friends after I declared philosophy as my major. All those people who don't understand the hard work and clarity of thought involved in order to do well in philosophy... jeesh.

But to answer your question, well, yes... philosophy is the most useless major out there
