ECS K7S5A. SIS 735 chipset takes SDRAM or DDR. $50 and change. Running a 1900xp on it right now. Just get a decent PS.
I believe ASUS makes a board based on the 745 SIS A7S-333 DDR MB for $69.
Epox is good...
Shuttle too. AK31
Most Mobo companies have good offerings under $100, even under $70 with older chipsets.

MSI 745 Ultra at $65 + shipping. Rock stable - better than the VIA board it replaced in my system. A little slower than VIA boards on synthetic benches, but definitely not noticeable in real-world apps.

Also if you want to overclock, the 745 Ultra has the proper PCI/AGP dividers at 166MHz. I don't know a whole lot of people that have one and haven't unlocked the CPU and run at 166MHz FSB or higher. I've been running at 10x183MHz with air cooling and have been testing 9.5x190MHz FSB with a stick of Crucial PC2100.

i would have reccomended the k7s5a but he's getting an athlon 1900, so i assume he'll be running ddr
for a ddr system, the 8k3a would be faster and offer a lot more features for 17 more
for any fully new system i'd reccomend ddr, and the 8k3a or 8k3a+
for somebody looking to keep sdr ram to save up for awhile to get ddr..i reccomend the k7s5a
the kt 333 system will be faster for a reasonable amount of extra cash...if you need raid or even just 4 independent ide channels, the 8k3a+ is an excellent choice
