Last year coming home from Jamaica, we were almost to the front of the line at the airport, my wife says "where are our tickets?" I look around in amazement... I left my travel document holder in the backseat of our taxi. It ONLY had in it: our passports, about $1200 in cash, plane tickets, 2 credit cards, both of our drivers licenses and the car key
I have never had such a feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach in my whole life. We had been in line at the airport for 30 minutes, I just knew the taxi was half-way back across the island by now, with the driver spending every penny we owned, and selling our indentities.
I ran out the front of the airport and lo and behold, there was our beat up taxi sitting in the taxi line at the outgoing terminal. My stuff was still sitting in the back seat, the driver never even notice dit, he was sitting on the hood talking with some other drivers. I gave him $100 just because I was so relieved that he had not left yet.
So what have you lost, or thought you lost?
