I recently took a test where I did ZERO studying for. As I was taking it (and trying to figure out wtf the question was even asking) I was mentally preparing myself with the possibility that I could get a 30% to 40% or lower.

I ended up getting a 65% and was said "alright!" when I got my test back. The girl that handed me my test gave me one of those "hmph-sh" (where the sound comes out of your nose mostly) and rolled her eyes. She must not think 65's are worthy of an "alright" :p

What's the lowest score you have gotten, yet been happy with

28% on my Numerical Methods final. Higest grade in the class after curving was an 85% (not the test but for the class itself). Before the final there were 9 people who had A's. One of my friends had a 97 before the final and ended up with an 84 in the class. That professor was a douche.

I got a C in that class.

I like getting A's and for most classes I think I can do at least that well. I don't usually do that well, especially now, but it is still what satisfies me.

I got a 9% in 4th grade for a history test. However, I was sick the entire week we were studying for it and was dizzy as hell on the test day so I could've got a 0% and not care. Besides, the teacher let me retake it anyways.

5/100

I was just glad I didn't get a zero like two of my class mates. I think the average on that test was a 30 something. The teacher was pissed at us but she caved in and gave a re-test. I still failed but a 53 looks hella better than a 5 to the rents.

Anything lower is kinda frownface for me.

I'm with ya...anything less than an "A" was a bummer for me.

I've taken calc tests where the class average was 38%.

I can't recall what my personal record low score is though.

52/100 overall for a module (test and a couple of essays), I think I probably got close to 40% on the test, but it was OK, only needed 40% overall to pass, and it didn't count towards anything. Plus I hated it.

40% for a levelling module in my course. So amazed that i passed it. The odds were totally against me.

Why levelling sucked:

1. The lecturer totally had it in for me, as it was apparent that i hated the subject and couldnt level from day 1. If you dont see the point in somthing, its even more difficult to do. Leading me to point no.2
2. Really really early on in the module he tells us GPS can do everything we need to do 100x faster and more accurately, making the stuff we do with levelling camera things seem pointless, slow and dumb.
3. I cant do maths.... hate it.... sucks... Noone in my group could do maths either. So calculating stuff was extremely taxing.
4. Our final practical exam was up a hill in a field filled with sheep and cattle with horns on a really sunny day. The letter that told us what to prepare for said somthing like "wrap up warm, and prepare for wind, hail and perhaps snow, the worst of the scottish weather!" We all came back sunburnt. Plus cows kept coming over and taking over the levelling camera, and wouldnt go away.
5. The final exam was written poorly and vital figures were missing, meaning people like me that werent even sure of what we were doing anyway got even more confused. Luckily somone that knew how to calculate all the crap realised this and had the total bastard lecturer change it.

damn i HATED levelling!!! and that lecturer dude!! soab!

I had a 0 for an undergrad upper level p-chem exam. Average score was 12% -- for which the curve was bloated due to a few grad students taking the undergrad course.

My friend pulled in a 0.00 GPA for two straight semesters of college. I havent seen anything beat it yet.

Btw, he is now a manager at a restaraunt making really good money.

I know a guy who f'd around in college, did coke, run a business into the ground, and was generally a complete idiot.

He is now President of the United States of America. I guess anyone has a chance to succeed.

The semester before he got an A in Bowling and failed everything else.

3 Semesters, one A and the rest were Fs. He liked his fraternity though.

And the connections he made were probably more important than anything else he learned. It goes to show you that it's not what you know, it's who you know.

A 3/20 on a multiply chose test. All I need was 2/20 to get an A in the class so I was happy.

prolly the 57% that after the curve ended up being an 82%. Although i havn'et studied for a single AP Bio test this year, and I've gotten an A on all but 2 (out of like 20).
