What is the Lowest Price Anyone Has Purchased a 6800 GT for?

While reading a thread about the eVGA motherboard and 7800 GT combo I got to thinking. What is the lowest price that anyone ever paid for a brand new 6800 GT? Did it ever come down to a reasonable price, even momentarily?

With that in mind, what kind of deals on the 7800 GT might we see on Black Friday? Might we see any 6800 GT or Ultra deals as retailers try to clear out stock. (Imagine Best Buy offering the BFG 6800 GT for $200.)

I bought my 6800GT pretty soon after it came out (July 2004), so I don't know really how low prices have gotten since then. As for your Black Friday question, I believe CompUSA had a 6800(nu) for $200 last year...was probably after rebate though. Still, I think there's a great chance that someone will offer a 6800GT for that price this year, maybe even a bit lower (but probably not).

Yeah. Last year CompUSA had the PNY 6800nu in AGP (?) for $200.

I wonder if we'll see any 7800 GT's for $250? Nah. Might see some x800xl's for $200 and x800/850xt's for $250. Maybe 6600 GT's for $100.

Back in November/December 04 I got in on the BFG 6800/HL2 deal for $220AR. I already had HL2 (paid $20 for the voucher before the game came out) so after selling it I got the card for under $200, unlocked to 16/6. Hell of a value at the time.

I got my two PCI-E 6600GTs for $65 each AR shipped from Microcenter. Kind of a shame since they are on computers #9 and #10 for me, which means I never game on them and only turn them on once a week or so.

Big difference between 6800NU and 6800GT!

I think the BFG 6800gt OC was $250.00 after $50.00 rebate once for a few days somewhere, and am not even sure of that, you can get it now for about $275.00, if you search around.

outpost maybe was the deal on the 6800gt, it was like 6 months ago, i got the 6800ultra for $350.00 after $50.00 rebate from outpost.

I sold it like 6 months later for what i paid for it.

I got my refurbished Leadtek 6800GT from NewEgg for $210. I believe the retail version dipped just below $300 around that time ($290?). This was mid-June, 2005. (I'm referring to an AGP model.)
