What is the logic behind hiding prices in FS/FT?

I notice a lot of people remove the prices after they sell the item. Why?

I don't think it means anything other than as a way to signify that the item has been sold...

You typically just replace the price with "SOLD".......

Its annoying but what are you going to do? I try to leave mine up, sometimes i simply forget.

I leave the prices and put SOLD next to it. It's easier for others to judge pricing if it is left up.

Start a little higher and say "best offer," then see what you get for offers.
