what is the largest animal a hawk or eagle can kill?

I've seen on discovery channels that eagles can easily kill adult kangeroos or sheeps. But I've never seen actually pictures or video doing it.

Is the amazing killing prowless of the eagle just a myth or is it real?

depends on the species of eagle. They are not all the same size or have the same food requirements.

There are some that eat monkeys that are the size of some 10 - 12 year olds. There has been at least one verified case of an eagle carrying off a bear (cub).
