What is the job title for someone who checks merchandise for defects for someone else

My brother lives in Germany and has a business there. He is looking to buy merchandise in America, and ship it to Germany, but he got screwed over big time before and doesn't want to get burned again. He is looking for someone, preferably an official company with good rep that would basically perform ALL of the services needed, like going to vendor warehouses across the US and inspecting merchandise in person for defects, and handling all aspects of shipping from US to Germany.

The problem is, neither he nor I know what is the official "position" or "job title" for someone doing stuff like this. How to go about finding people like that?

Please help out of you know anything about these things.
