I need to klnow thw diff betweem them. Will i be able to hook up my pc to eh TV set with an s-video out? Why is there a difference and what is the extra vga or vivo connector for?

Common TV-Out is either Composite (single RCA connector) or S-Video. VIVO is the acronym for Video-In Video-Out when cards have the ability to "capture" or record video onto the PC, in addition to common TV-Out. VGA is generally for PC monitors but also some newer TV's. If there is an extra VGA connector then it is for dual monitors. I guess your GF4MX just had Composite. S-Video is better quality because the signals are kept seperated so you should use that if the TV has it.

From left to right, DVI, S-Video (possibly VIVO if there's a separate splitter that they don't show in the pic), VGA.
DVI is used mainly for LCD monitors and sometimes to connect HDTVs. You can get a S-Video to Composite converter if your TV doesn't have S-Video inputs.
