I've never had a i5 2500k before, and im getting one. Im wondering though what its overclocking capabilites can be put to. I know its capable around 4.0 GHz, but say it were to go higher, anybody who has one, what would its temps be at? Im using a coolermaster v8 to cool this, and I have about 6(or 7 if I bought another) for airflow, soo.. anybody know? Even at 4.0 GHz, or 4.2, what would the temps be?

At 4.2 Ghz and maxed out CPU usage using folding@home, mind lives at like around 65 celcius.

Had mine at 4.4 1.3v hottest core would touch 65C. Now it is at 4.7 1.41v and the hottest core hits 76C which is the limit for me. Both temps are peak CPU temp on the hottest core while running very high IBT runs.

This isn't even a very good chip I have seen people running 0.5-0.6v lower than I currently am @ 4.8ghz
