What is the I.E. version in the Win ME/2000 PRO?

Anyone know what is the Internet Explorer version in the win me/2000 pro?If i am not mistake it should be I.E. 5.1(or I.E. 5.01?).Should i update it to I.E. 5.5?

Yeah, I think now it's safe to upgrade IE to 5.5 (SP1). I would not have suggested this a couple of months ago as the original IE 5.5 was terrible (at least for my system). Just to brag, my IE is 5.6 (whistler).

WinME has IE 5.5

Win2k has IE 5.0

I still will not put IE 5.5 on my Win2k system even with there being SP1 available.
