Well, I've always felt that if you don't have to, why bother. But some games don't run as fast as I would like them to at the resolutions I generally run my games at (1280x960 or 1600x1200). I've never had a problem overclocking an NVIDIA card. If its to much, the screen will get corrupted or Windows won't load up or something obvious at which point I lower the clock speed. Dont' have much experience with ATI cards and overclocking so I want to try something safe that has be done before.
