what is the highest RPM hard drive for IDE

I know there is a 7200 rpm IDE hard drive what about 10,000 rpm for IDE?
I know there is 10,000 rpm scsi

7,200 RPM is top for IDE right now...
You can go up to 15k with SCSI though

If I had remembered correctly, and others from PCA who know Biohazard or have bought an engineering sample HD from him, that he has connection to an uncle who works at one of the major hard drive manufacturing companies, and has gotten a hold of a few 10,000RPM IDE drives.

They were received by him last winter I beleive it was. Not sure how that is progressing...

I thought I read somewhere that IBM is currently developing 12,000 RPM IDE drives.
