someone asked me and I didn't know and i googled it and couldn't get a striaght answer.

is it diff. for each test?

It depends on test. One method I know has a max of ~150, another goes all way till ~220.

Theoretically it is infinite. The bell curve that measures IQ has no upper limit, so even though it is highly improbable it is possible for someone to have an extremely high IQ.
