What is the highest multiplier for the Soyo 6BA+IV?

You should be able to hit the DEL key and enter the bios. Enter the Combo setup page, and set the CPU freq to manual setting. Then you can use the page up/down key to see the selections avaiable. I think I remember seeing a 8 or 8.5 before. I will reboot later sometime and post my results unless someone else knows from memory what the highest multipler is.

Even if the bios does not list the multiplier that you want (ex: 8.5 or 9), the mobo. will support the cpus with the higher multipliers.

8 is the highest setting with that bios.

Like the Frenchie said. THe multplier number in the bios doesn't matter because the new CPU's are clock locked, and the mobo does NOT need that multipler that the CPU uses.

For emphasis, I'm running a Celeron 633 at 950 on my 6BA+IV. Either way you shake it, the 9.5x multiplier in the CPU dominates.
