soda != healthy

Even with splenda brands and what not, you're still drinking carbonic acid which reacts with calcium. Guess what that means? In large amounts it will actually have the reverse effect that milk has on your bones. It will react with the calcium and go out in your pee, lowering the calcium content in your bone structure.

The healthiest soda would have to be the zero-calorie, diet versions, but even then, I limit myself to 1 per day.

Yeah no soda is really good for you. But if you are talking about diet sodas you should try Coke Zero if you haven't yet, it's much better than Diet Coke!

AspArtame has not been shown by any reliable source over the past 50 years to have any sort of negative effect, not by the FDA, WTO, the "European FDA" (whatever they're called), or anyone. 0 calories is 0 calories.
