What do you folks think?

I need to write an essay about it and was hoping to get some others views.

I'm a very large supporter of capitalist doctorines (ie Laissez Faire), as I believe it promotes meritocracy which in my opinion is the way to riches, not being born into it.

Thanks in advance for all help :)

it promotes meritocracy
where did you come up with that crap?

the free market is the most efficient way to allocate capital resources to fulfill the desires of society as a whole- it has nothing to do with merit!!!!

on an individual level it is not a "formula for human success and happiness"

that said, it is probably still better than any other system for creating wealth and eficient use of capital

my advice - read "Eat the Rich" - linky

you'll get some good ideas from it (and a laugh or two)

Market capitalism is a form of insanity. Its practitioners have no idea what is valuable. The result is that what is priceless is squandered and what is useless acquires great monetary value.
