Hi, I currently have an Intel P4 520J (2.8Ghz/800MHz/1mb LGA-775 CPU w/HT), and am wondering what kind of CPU upgrade path I have in this box featuring the E7221 chipset... my guess would be either a 571 (3.8GHz/800MHz/1mb w/HT and EM64T), or a 672 (3.8GHz/800MHz/2mb w/HT, EM64T, and Intel Virtualization Technology); the new dual-core CPUs are definitely out of the question, I'm sure.
There's also the possibility of the 65-nm 661 (3.6GHz/800MHz/2mb w/HT and EM64T) but I have my reservations and would be ok with a 90-nm processor.
Any help? Firsthand experience with the SC420 in this regard is particularly appreciated
