533 PPGA, this does NOT include the 533 FC-PGA CPUs, as for overclocking, it's hit and miss w/ the LX using either SoftFSB or CPUCool, both have 83 mhz as the fatest FSB speed availible in the drop-down menu as 83 is the highest the LX chipset will support.

Some LX boards support FC-PGA processors.

Theoretically, 958mHz would be the absolute top speed. 11.5 multiplier for the 766 and an 83mHz bus.

Of course, doing that would be completely idiotic...

I've got an intel AL440LX board in an old Sony computer running a 733 celeron on a slotket at 880mhz (11 x 80 using SoftFSB). There is also the remote possibility of using one of the new Powerleap Tualatin adapters running a 1.2 Celeron tualatin at 12 x 83 for a max total of 1 GHZ! I've never heard of that, but I am considering upgrading an old BX board with one of these (the cost is just a little too high...I can get a new board and chip for less than the adapter). If I do it, I'm gonna try it in the LX just for kicks to see if it will work.
