What is the fastest and most stable windows?

Fastest and stable maybe be contradictary, but what do you think. Which is fastest, and which is most stable.

95 would probably be the fastest on todays hardware (maybe)

but 2000 would be the most stable.

Stability rules out 5 of your 7 options, anything based on Win9X is sh!t.

XP isn't bad but I think 2K is better over all.

Right now? I'd say 2000, give it a couple of months and I think XP will be the fastest and most stable Microsoft OS.

now i'd like to know one thing :

WHO THE HELL VOTED FOR ME ?!?!?

winMe is most crappy Os ever

and dont say it isnt, it is.

I have 5 comps here at home of which 3 are running winMe and two win2k

the win2k comps have NEVER crashed, the winMe comps crash about every day

I dont even think ME is faster, and if it is you definetly wont be enjoying the speed for very long (untill yer next crash that is ...)

Love MY 2K! I have had less problems with my Win2K than anything else and for what I do it is quite speedy.

W2K, I usually dont like to adopt the latest & greatest. I find w2k to be the stable of all releases.
