its 06 scion tc
just rolled over to 17k miles
it really is in perfect condition
upgraded pioneer stereo with ipod aux
5 speed

i'm selling it in the bay area

do you think i can get more than $15k for it? i see them listed on craigslist for a lot more, but i'm not sure how much these are actually selling for.

KBB always seems high to me. Edmunds usually seems closer to actual values.

NADA says "Clean Retail" is $15,500 :NADA

So, you are right there. Probably should take the offer.

I've always sold my cars for very close to bluebook, and I've never had to take a lowball offer or even haggle. But I've also never PAID bluebook. So it really depends on how quickly you need to sell. There will be plenty of cheapskates like me who will offer less than the car is worth, hoping to find an impatient seller. But there are also people out there who are willing to pay Bluebook in order to minimize the hassle of buying. Publish the bluebook value in your ad, round down to the nearest $100, and wait.
