What is the equivalent card?

I know that ATI released 3 different flavors for their "X" series. I would like to know what is the equivalent to the X600 and X300? Of course my X800 is on the way and I have no desire to purchase the lower cards.
This discussion actually came up at work and no one had a clue.
I think the X600 might be equivalent to a Geforce FX 5600 series but I'm just guessing.
Any other clues?

x600 = 9600 xt

x600 = 9600 (which is faster than a 5600 usually)
x300 = 9200 ? I think

X600 = 9600Pro EXACTLY (rebadged)
X600Pro = 9600XT + faster memory (500/740 clock speed I believe)
X300 = not sure, but should be between Radeon 9200 and Radeon 8500 maybe... but there is also an X300se version that is like 9200se. Basically you don't want to touch any of those cards with a 10 foot pole.

The whole range is basically 9600 cores at different speed and width setups. They're all 2 vertex / 4x1 pixel setups.

X300SE = 9600SE (325/400 64bit)
X300 = 9600 (325/400 128bit)
X600 = 9600Pro (400/600 128bit)
X600XT = 9600XT OC (500/740 128bit)

This is a mistake, especially with the 6600 and 6600GTs coming in at around $200. x600 should be a 9800XT class card at the very least.

I work in retail so I have to tell people why to not get the lower cards if they want hi end 3d performance.

And no doom 3 will not run on an E-machine. Sorry. (Many questions from customers)
