in the ASUS K8V SE deluxe and the K8V ?
I was looking on newegg for a athlon 64 board (socket 754), and was looking for the ones with the VIA chipset and ran accross these two ASUS boards and to me they look almost identical (on paper):
both have VIA K8T800 & VT8237
both have same ports, sound, and LAN
the K8V has the promise R20376 SATA controler where the K8V SE deluxe has the R20378 controler
the K8V has wifi and 1394
but the cost for the K8V is 204 and the K8V SE deluxe is 138
is the SATA control, the lack of 1394 and wifi make the K8V that much more?
if anyone knows fill me in.
