What is the difference in these rechargeable batteries?

Basically the more mAh's the longer it lasts... Go with the first set... Batteries are batteries, canon brand doesnt mean anything...

True for the most part but not always.

I got a set of 2200 mAh Energizer NiMH and a set of 1800 mAh Powerizer from Batteryspace.com.

Believe it or not, the Powerizer brand lasts longer in my Digicam!!! :Q

That's true too... Here's a good review of many different brands of rechargable batteries...

I just picked up some Sanyo 2300 mah batteries and a Lightning Pack 4000N charger from RipVan100.com. I heard good things about the Sanyo batteries, they were right on top of that review on imaging resource (the 2100's were, these are the new 2300's). I got my new Canon A70 today, and managed to go through the included batteries in about 2 hours, so I figured getting good rechargeables was worth it.

oh thats lousy, 1600mha? lowest u cna find almost. get the rayovac ic-3 15 minute charge 2000? or was that 2200mah batteries. 15 min makes it a last minute thing which is priceless at times. and well only the ic-3 batts have the built in sensors or whatever to work with that charger, which has active cooling to go that fast, nothing touchs it. don't listen to people who blab about how they baby their batteries to get a few more % use out of em, waste of time. batteries are cheap, esp cheap per use, a couple cents once u factor its full life usage.

Where are some places to find cheap, but namebrand rechargeable batteries?

ripvan100.com, anymore?
