What is the difference between these 2 bikes?

Trek 7500 FX

and

Trek 7500

other than the price difference. I'm looking for a bike for mainly street riding, to the gym, hard trails.

oh and do you guys know a place to get a nice indoor bike rack? It doesn't have to hang from the wall, just a stable base with room for one bike.

the FX has shocks, chainring guard and the non-fx has no chainring guard, no shocks

 

One has shocks in the front forks (the non-FX) and one doesn't. 🙂

The 7500 looks like a nice, laid back, easy rider version of the 7500.

The FX looks like a more serious speed machine.

Pedals Wellgo single side clipless ATB

Clipless pedals on the good (road-like) one.

I don't know jack about bikes, what is good about clipless pedals?
